Depression Therapy
in Meath

Depression does not always feel dramatic or obvious unlike stress & anxiety or life transitions

Often, it shows up as a steady lowering of mood, energy, and interest in things that once felt manageable.

Day to day life can start to feel heavier. Even small tasks can take more effort, and it can be harder to stay engaged with what is going on around you.

From the outside, you may still be getting on with things. But underneath, there can be a sense of flatness, tiredness, or being weighed down.

My Therapy can help you make sense of what is going on and begin to gently rebuild a sense of energy, engagement, and movement over time.

  • Ongoing low mood or lack of energy

  • Loss of interest in things you usually enjoy

  • Difficulty getting started, even with small tasks

  • Feeling flat, heavy, or weighed down

  • Withdrawing from others or everyday life

  • Changes in sleep, appetite, or concentration

  • A sense of being stuck without a clear way forward

Depression
How I work with it

Video Transcript : You might find that your mood has been lower for a while… or that even small things are taking more out of you than they used to. It’s not always dramatic or easy to explain… but day to day, you may feel flatter, more tired, or less interested in things that would normally feel manageable. Sometimes it shows up as low energy, poor motivation, or just finding it hard to get started with ordinary things. What I don’t do is push you to snap out of it or expect quick answers. We start by slowing things down and looking at how things have been feeling for you day to day. That includes what may be sitting underneath the low mood, what is affecting your energy, and what feels hardest to manage right now. From there, we work on helping you understand it more clearly, and gently rebuild a sense of movement, motivation, and steadiness again. If this sounds familiar, it might be worth having a quick chat, to see if my approach would help you. I’m Myles, I work with people across Navan, Trim and Kilcock dealing with low mood and depression.

We do not try to force change or push you to feel differently straight away.

We start by slowing things down and understanding what your day-to-day experience is like. That might include low energy, reduced motivation, or the sense that things feel harder than they used to.

From there, we work gradually towards helping you feel a little more steady and engaged, finding small ways to rebuild movement and energy over time.

You don’t need to have it all figured out

You might not be sure how to describe it.

Some days feel manageable. Other days don’t, and it can take more effort than it should.

That is enough to begin.
