Life Transitions Therapy in Meath

Life transitions can unsettle your sense of direction, even when they are expected.

This might include job loss, a career change, becoming a parent, the break up of a relationship or a shift in responsibilities. At times like this, what used to feel steady or familiar can begin to feel uncertain or harder to rely on.

From the outside, you may still be managing day to day. But underneath, there can be pressure, uncertainty, or a sense that things no longer quite fit in the same way.

Therapy can help slow things down, make sense of what is changing, and support you in finding a clearer, steadier way forward.

  • Feeling unsure about what comes next

  • A sense that things do not feel right, even if you cannot fully explain it

  • Losing direction or motivation in work or daily life

  • A sense that who you are, or how you see yourself, is starting to shift

  • Not feeling like yourself in your day-to-day life

  • Finding it harder to feel steady or in control of things

  • Questioning choices or the path you are on

Life Transitions
How I work with it

Video Transcript : You might be going through a change that has unsettled things more than you expected… maybe a job change, becoming a parent, or a shift at home or work… and life just doesn’t feel the same as it did before. It’s not always about one clear problem… but more a sense that things feel uncertain, or harder to find your footing in. Even when the change is positive or planned, it can still bring pressure, doubt, or a feeling of being slightly off balance. What I don’t do is rush you into decisions or try to map everything out straight away. We start by slowing things down and looking at what is changing in your life and how it is affecting you. That includes your sense of direction, the pressure you may be under, and what feels unclear or unsettled. From there, we work on helping you feel more steady in yourself, and find a clearer way forward that fits with where you are now. If this sounds familiar, it might be worth having a quick chat, to see if my approach would help you. I’m Myles, I work with people across Navan, Trim and Kilcock dealing with life and work changes.

Myles does not try to force quick decisions or push for immediate answers.

We start by slowing things down and looking at what is changing in your life and how it is affecting you. That might include work, family roles, or a sense that your direction no longer feels as clear as it once did.

From there, we work towards helping you feel more grounded and clearer in yourself, so that decisions feel less pressured and more settled, and you can move forward in a way that fits better for you.

You don’t need to have it all figured out

You might not be sure what the next step should be, or even what is wrong exactly.

Sometimes it is just a sense that things do not feel right, or that something needs to change.

That is enough to begin.
